This plugin provides integration between the website and Newfangled’s Insight Engine.

• Page views are automatically tracked for all site visitors.
• Form conversions are pushed to the Insight Engine to facilitate visitor insights and metrics.
• Content publication is synced to facilitate the content reporting mechanisms in the Insight Engine.

See Settings > Newfangled Insight Engine Connector to change the various data that is synced with the Insight Engine.

The “Content Tracking” settings control what post types and taxonomies are tracked by the Insight Engine

By default, all Gravity Form submissions are tracked by the Insight Engine. If you wish to *exclude* tracking a specific form type (i.e. a job application form) you can use the Conversion Tracking settings to exlude it.

The Insight Engine requires several custom taxonomies to facilitate content reporting. These can be added automacally by the Insight Engine Connector plugin, if you are not already adding these manually in your theme.

If you are using a custom taxonomy to designate ‘Post Type’ (i.e. Article, White Paper, Resource, etc) you can tell the Insight Engine to use that custom taxonomy for its Post Type reports.
