Marketing is a means to an end. But the means is complex enough and dependent upon so many smart and talented people that it can be easy (and tempting) to keep our heads down in the details and never look up to see the results. We all know that pretty pictures, finely crafted copy, and clever campaigns are worthy of our time and attention, but what good are they if they don’t produce results? The bottom line is, our work is not the goal. The goal is in what our work makes possible for others.
We’ve thought a lot about accountability to results and have created many resources to help marketing, sales, and creative teams better understand what results to pursue and how to measure them.
